This is actually my first custom figure I've ever attempted, around 2004 or 2005 maybe. I'm posting it now because I saw a slot in the Customizer Profile for your first custom. It's rubbish now, but I thought, what the heck?

Base: Ruby Quartz Armor Cyclops.
Everything Else: Sculpted! (with plumber's epoxy)

After reading Grant Morrison's run I knew I had to have a figure representing this ultra cool take on Cyke. When I made this I wasn't yet comfortable with swapping body parts, so I just sculpted on top of the pre-existing figure. Also the head was perfect, as was the turtleneck thing that was already on it, so I didn't have to sculpt that. I also wanted to keep the light-up feature. I cut off the X-emblem on his chest and set it aside. Disconnected the tubes coming out of him, then I dremelled the chest, arms, thighs, and pelvis areas. I used plumber's epoxy because I had yet to discover the wonders of Apoxie Sculpt. I sculpted the jacket, sleeves, pants, and belt, sculpting around the battery compartment, and used a toothpaste tube for the collar. Then I took the X-emblem I cut off earlier and glued it to the belt.

At the time I was proud of the figure. The light-up feature still works and I can change the battery if I wanted to. But all I see now are flaws, and it can barely stand up on its own (Although the base figure had a hard enough time standing anyway). I remade this costume a few years later (I'll post that soon). Still, you never forget your first, and I keep it around just to see how much I've improved.
