This is number 21 in my series of Earth-2 Superman fan fiction. This character is Vril Dox, a Coluan with a 12th-level intelligence who is a foe of the Earth-2 Superman during the years spanning from the early 1940's through the late 1960's. Essentially, he is an Earth-2 equivalent of Brainiac, except he is not an android computer, but rather a living humanoid being.

Again, this figure was a pretty straight forward custom. I used the same recipe here that I used on my Lyrl Dox (Adult Years) figure. I first removed the Psycho-Pirate's cape and made up a batch of Milliput to fill in the grooves left in his back and on his shoulders. Additionally, I used milliput to create the boots and gauntlets. Using my Dremel, I sanded the areas that had been enhanced by the Milliput till they were smooth, and then used the boil and pop method to remove the head, and then using more Milliput, I created the collar. Next, I glued a series of plastic craft beads around the surface of the belt. Once the glue dried, I gave the figure a full head to toe repaint in light purple, black and white for the jumpsuit, silver for the belt, a light green for all exposed areas of the skin, and dark brown for the hair and eyebrows. Once all of the paint was dry, I attached the new head, and TA-DA...the Vril Dox, nemesis of the Earth-2 Superman!!!!
