Here I have my Christopher Reeve Superman Version I.5 of 2011. He was my first post using the New Krypton head but he never photographed this well... iphone… go figure.. HAR!! pun.
He's been repainted for a better match of skin tone from the hands and neck. Altogether he has improved 200%.

He's not the main focus here really as much as the figure base I built today using Styrofoam from Hobby Lobby and yes.. you guessed it… clear drinking straws. I had done a HUGE fortress display already but not one that was really an individual showcase. This base is about as big as a flat rate M box (*wink) and has an LED light that fits perfectly underneath the baseboard. It illuminates the base, backer, knowledge "straws" and figure all at once… I'm digging it. The light got lost in the complicated mess that was the huge display but this makes a nice individual piece like it was sliced and removed from the fortress itself.

I posted a video up that shows the entire thing in 360 and I got to say it looks pretty sharp. I really dig this one. it really makes the figure look nicer than it did before.
