I retained all of the original pieces of the Sarah Jane base figure with the exception of the coat, the bottom of the shirt, and original hair. The hair and all factory paint was removed from the head sculpt. The missing part of the scalp was sculpted with milliput. Saran hair was used to replace the original molded on hair and styled. The face was repainted with acrylic paint, watercolor pencils, and prismacolor colored pencils and sealed. The top part of the shirt was stripped of paint, sanded down, and painted in fleshtones. The cuffs of the coat were cut off with an exacto knife and the arms were sanded down. The hands were stripped of paint and repainted. The blue shirt and vest are hand-made. The purse is from the SJA set the base figure came with. The sonic screwdriver is borrowed from the 4th Doctor (who is in the process of being redone himself).

Hairstyle is based on Sarah's hair in New Who "School Reunion" episode.

Clothing is based on the Sarah Jane Adventures "Day of the Clown" episode.
