Hi guys, my name is Z from Brooklyn... Hence BKZ. I have been customizing since the early 90's. My first custom I remember was turning a he man figure into a Darkman (was really horrible like most of our first customs...lol), next I bought wizard magazine ( I think it was issue #8 if I remember correctly) and they had there first custom corner where they turned the series 1 marvel superheroes Captain America into US Agent. I immediately started to work on cap without hesitation...lol. We'll after that I decided to customize most of my figures. But then the last custom I did in that era was for a Toyfair magazine contest in the late 90's where jakks pacific sponsored it. You had to make a series of WWF superstars and I Made The Blue Blazer, Godfather, Jeff Jarrett, and a few others. We'll I lost, just to find out a few months later those same figures I did was being released by jakks in separate series. Coincidence? maybe, but I felt like mine should at LEAST been posted, because they were way better than most they showed. So after that I stopped customizing.

But a few years ago I starting seeing a lot of custom action figures popping up on the net and I really liked what I was seeing, so I began customizing again slowly getting back in the game. My issue has always been where to post my customs .I tried RTM early last year and a custom con 14, but there really wasn't a place to comment on customs so I stopped posting. So now I found this site and I must say it seems cool, so I hope you guys don't mind if I make this my home:-)

Now, Bumblebee was made from Classics...Bumblebee. I just gave him a new paint job with this 18k Gold spray paint and a yellow ink wash on top. I dremmeled down the hook I the rear for his accessory. Then I modified the Megatron gun that cape with MP-01 Optimus Prime to fit bumblebee so it gives him more size standing next to the other Autobots.

Hey Guys thanks for all your posts, I had to completely take him apart to spray him, but I forgot to cover the lights in the front so I just painted over it.
