Greymonk...I appreciate it man, as a great customizer I know says "customize well this morning, for tonight we paint in hell!" I think that's how Ratboy's quote goes...anyways....yeah, I use a combo of painting techniques, always base paint it first before I airbrush it. ok, for example....for wolverines tights.....primed the base, painted it dark flesh color for the orangish tan look, then added some vermillion for the muscle detail. then brought out the airbrush and used transparent red oxide with the airbrush to shade it(aww hell, who am I to be giving you painting lessons!) well, maybe somebody can use that info
Punstarr...yeah, I understand, the puns were just not there...I didn't "figure" you would be able to "stick" any on wolverine
DTM... that would be Wolverina's busts....lmao! I couldn't resist, Punstarr made me do it. but being serious, thanks for that high grade my friend...I wish it was good as something like that
Z's customs... thanks dude, well here is another cheap way for custom accessories. by all means will I give up my watercolor paper, but you can get some vinyl table mats at the dollar tree for $1.00 each. easy to cut with exacto knife. it paints very smoothly too
Shinobitron...great to hear from you! man, I checked out the transformers movie last night, best movie I have seen in a long time, I thought about your customs

Heh, the muse was not upon me, my friend. Usually when I make a good joke or pun, they just come to me.
I mean I could made a comment that he looks meaner than Beelze-bub, or that he looks sharp six ways to Sunday, but like I said, the muse was just not with me that day.
It really is a great paint job though.

I gotta say, I just looked at another custom that Trigun pulled up from March, man your paint jobs are simply amazing! It literally looks like the pieces are torn off the comic page and inflated into 3D. I have looked at this one now 4 times trying to figure out how you could add red into this and not make it look like it was supposed to be blood. I can only figure you are using a combination of airbrush and hairbrush techniques, but that's just speculation on my part. Oh and I know what you mean about going that extra oompf when you are doing the custom for someone else! Good job friend good job!

I really appreciate all you guys commenting on this wolverine...I wish it was mine too! lol, seems like when I am giving stuff away or doing it for somebody else, you try a little harder for some reason. but I thank you all sincerely
Punstarr...thanks King of Puns! you should've left a good pun for this one! lol....that demon contest is a riot, huh??
Enigma...well, thanks and you know, after I had him painted I was almost not going to use the airbrush on it, but I can never, ever leave well enough alone...I have been know to ruin a few things for that reason alone
Mikey11935...the secret...well, it really isn't a secret, but you know....that 40year old virgin really paints good smaill detail...I wonder if getting a magnifying glass eyepeice like he was using would help?? I'm glad you liked this paintjob, I was worried I was gonna mess it up bad with what I was doing to it
Buzzy Fret...dang, it always good to hear from you Buzzy, you being one of the big dawgs on here....I always enjoy looking at your customs and the hack shack...lol!
deadeyesamurai...I thank you my friend, after seeing some of your work and art....it must've gave me some inspiration cause after I went on down the road yesterday, I painted this figure last night....beam me up scotty!
Nuffsaid...lol! I hear you bro', just don't say that too loud, but I appreciate it my friend
rateeg...hey, thanks dude, you know we can only get better and improve ourselves from being surrounded by great customizers like yourself!
guido_vcgga...refer to nuffsaid's comment...lol!! j/k'n....that was funny though! and welcome to the figure realm, hope you enjoy your stay
