Honey the Cat is an obscure Sonic character, mostly because she was never actually in a game. She was supposed to be in the arcade game Sonic the Fighters but was cut out, possibly because of her resemblance to another character of the same name in Fighting Vipers. Honey is made from an Amy Rose with Sonic's arms swapped out. Her hair and ears are sculpted from polymer clay, and most of her unique costume elements are made of plastic sheets. I also made a pair of piko-piko hammers for her to wield. The red one is made from a pill bottle and the green one a couple of craft corks, with handles made of toothpicks.
Where did you get an amy figure? come to think of it where do you get most of your figures?! Did you just stock up on figures when they still sold certain ones and now your just hording them for customs?
actually yes, I have like 8 or 9 figures waiting in the wings in case ToyRUs stops carrying them, although I am currently out of Amy's. My customer bought this particular figure online and sent it to me.
Her design is most definitely based off of Honey/Candy from Fighting Vipers (didn't she have an altenate cat outfit, or maybe I'm thinking of some Dead or Alive woman?) as you said, which makes her all the cooler--what's better than having Sega characters rip off one another?
Anyway, great execution (I particularly like the green hammer)--I think she'd fit in perfect with the usual menagerie of Sonic critters.
The figures contained in the Custom Showcase are not for sale by Figure Realm, and the creators of the customs are no way affiliated with Figure Realm. The Custom Showcase is purely for entertainment purposes and only provides a means for the creators to show off their work and trade ideas. Figure Realm does not make or sell customs.
