O.K. Nothing serious here. (nor should there be with these two) I had this Thing figure sitting in the bin for a while and I always thought it looked like a rubber mask. Remember those wonderfully crafted costumes that accompanied the Marvel movies? Well, inside all day during a hurricane and I thought this might bring a chuckle to those that remember these guys. For those that missed the 80's JLI books, that was some fun stuff. As this is not exactly a contender, nothing was done to the figures because they went back on the shelf after the pictures. Kinda hope I'm not the only one that thinks this is humorous....

congrats my friend, this was the one that totally nailed the idea of the contest for me. I also loved the execution and the fact they might fight for some of the candy later. hulk smash puny rock man, me want snickers.

I like how they really look like they're wearing something you'd see in the real world and the candy bags were a nice touch too--great job!

Shouldn't it be a tribute to green and orange? Awesome idea. I love the fact that DC characters are dressed as Marvel characters. Who would Supes or Bats dress as? Simple but great execution.

Now this is what I had in mind when the contest was announced. I was going to do a Hulk in a bunny suit but my common sense got the better of me. Very nice though! Great job!

Blue beetle and booster should have been dressed as Batman and Robin, if you know what I mean

ok, with the theme of the contest, this one here SHOULD be on the top 3. it's a perfect representation of what the contest is all about.
sometimes, acrobatic skills with paints and sculpt is not necessary. the right idea/concept is enough to get the win.
salute! you deserve the spotlight man.
