that looks awesome! I remember that cartoon also...a teenaged Thing turning into the Thing with a ring! I've never tried that Super Sculpey, after your sculpting, did you have to bake it to harden it and if so, how do you keep from melting the figure. Hey, we can all learn something new everyday, right?

Hey there Fast Freddie,

I do put toys in the oven once I get done sculpting it. Now, keep in mind this is how I do it so I don't want to be responsible for anybody else but you must keep it between 150 to almost 200 degrees in the oven placed on a plate on the oven rack... And don't use your best china plates either.

Also DO NOT go over 200!...Nuff said.

Now also keep in mind the kind of figure you are using too...If you think it might not last in the heat or it might give off some toxic fumes... Don't bother even sculpting it.

As for how long till it is baked depends on the what you did. My suggestion is to check on it every few minutes to see if it is hardened and be careful because chances are your figure will be hot. Also there will be a change in color and texture too so you'll know if it's done.

Once the Sculpey is baked put some oven gloves on and take the plate out and let it cool.

Again, I don't want to be responsible for anybody getting hurt with any of this but this is my trade secret so there you go!
