My wife went to a charity toy sale and bought me a clear Space Ghost that was in package for super cheap knowing I want any clear fig I can find to make into Orange Lanterns or constructs. She is good to me. SO I repainted him in Tamiya Clear Orange and there you have it.
But Why is Space Ghost an Orange Lantern well let me tell you the story of how a hero died with honor to become the nightmare of 12 sectors. Space ghost was flying in his ship chasing some fugitive thieves their leader was one Larfleeze they had evaded capture for some time but he had heard rumors of the criminal in the vicinity and after verifying at the nearest seedy space bar he flew in the direction of an asteroid ignoring the warnings of the barkeep. As he approached he saw a orange glimmer and soon his ship was under attack by an orange head that began to devour his engines and he was forced to abandon ship.His nega-beams and ships weapons had no effect on the creature it seemed to be there and not there at the same time. But then he saw his quarry laughing at the entrance of a cave on the asteroid. He began pursuit and decided to turn on his invisibility cloak just in case it was a trap. He entered the cave and soon began to see loot and prizes from a hundred planets and as he followed the corridors he came to a room with a table laid out with the finest food in the galaxy. Larfleeze sat at the other end of the Table. "Oh please Space ghost" larfleeze said with a smile " Do come in and sit down and lets talk if after dinner you still want to take me in you are welcome to." Space Ghost uncloaked and said began to read Larfleeze his charges and rights. Larfleeze chuckled. "This is all true but you have made me into a hero Space Ghost if it was not for me the universe would be overcome by a power greater than you can imagine. In fact Space ghost it is what provided all the riches and food you see here." Larfleeze said matter a factually as he walked over to space ghost. "How is that possible??" Said space ghost "You feel it don't you? The desire to own everything you see?" Spac ghost hated to admit it but he did feel a greed overtaking him."Now that you mention it yes I do." "You see I a m the only thing stopping that feeling from taking over the universe.and I would never have found it if you hadn't forced me to hide in this stupid asteroid belt." Larfleeze smiled " and as a reward you can help me Space Ghost!" Space ghost confused said"Help you?" "Yes by joining me Glomulous help your self to our guest." And with that glomulous ate Space ghost and as he devoured the last of him and orange hued space ghost appeared. and bowed to his new lord and master. "Hail Larfleeze." Space Ghost said in perfect humility.
