Sorry the pics are gonna be crappy until I get my light tent out of storage since my apartment caught fire July 28th (my bday I might add) so these are phone pics that I will update this week. (EDIT) Just took new pics, made a box from a tshirt and cardboard, still not the greatest but better Started with the faceoff variant black punisher, ml 2 pack deadpool variant head, collar, belts, scabbards, and swords. all of the suit piping/seams were done with a super thin styrene strip that i managed to lay down without breaking so it's all one piece except where the joints line up. The tactical harness was completely made from styrene as well. using thin but wider strips i made the base of it with only 3 pieces. then i used the super thin pieces and placed 3 strips over that to give it a textured look. attached 2 holsters to the scabbards using the bands that hold the swords on to sin city miho's hips to hold 2 extra pistols. originally wanted to put sais there but i hate the marvel legends sais these days and the quick draw look for the pistols was so much cooler looking. i also worked everything around the peg hole on his back for posing. gave all the weapons a roughed up paint job aside from the swords. several layers of red were used, everything from citadel games workshop to model masters and vallejo. the brown parts for the harness and straps i used mahogany brown from vallejo. since i moved to san antonio they have a huge hobbytown usa here that carries every brand of paint out there (tamiya, vallejo, etc.) and vallejo is only $2.99! also all the styrene etc i used on this as well is from there. hope you guys like and check back later for better pics.
wish to say sorry for your unfortunate event. but do wish to say this is one of the best deadpools I have seen, truly awesome. keep up the fantastic work.
thanks guys. things may start looking up tomorrow since I'm in a different city now and I might be joining a new dental lab tomorrow. it's one of the top in texas. I put a lot of work into this figure and I really wish the pics would show better. every bit of the costume is detailed from seams to drybushing layers to several different washes. and my favorite and hardest part was the harness made from styrene the detail looks great in person. I even let it hang a little to make it not look formed to his body like he was actually wearing it
This is a cool deadpool, you tend to always make really cool versions of him! Sorry to hear about your place! Hopefully you can get that all sorted out, and have your usual wicked photo set up to help emphasize your good work!
P.S.- that w.I.p. pick looks cool, the way it's done looks like a really great start to a punisherpool concept!
