Guardian (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
I wanted my Guardian to be somewhat imposing when facing off against the bad guys, so I used a DC Direct Eradicator figure. I liked the fact that he already had the lines down his body to help define Guardians red and white costume. Sanding off the big "S" was a chore though, and then I had to resculpt his abs slightly and fill in the gaps on his back where the cape was pealed off. His head was from a Hush Batman. I liked the grim demeanour on this face that Guardian was often depicted with. The paint didn't seal well as I look at it now. I can see some rub marks where the black is showing through. Oh well, it looks great on my shelf :)  Please wait... |

The line down the left leg was a tough choice. I've seen it both ways, but I think Byrne stopped it at the waist. The base figure I used already had a line down the leg, so I just followed it. Because of that, my line is a lot wider than it is in the comics. But that's just more artistic license, right
Dedi - I didn't realize you were a displaced Canuck! No wonder I have an affinity for your work! Wolverine is my wife's favourite character, but the only thing I can think of that hasn't been done is a nude Wolvie ( shudders at the thought )
