Awesome figure! Sigh...hate to have to do this but my messages have yet to be returned. If they are indeed finished, and you do intend to send them to me, please do so. I'm leaving this command in a matter of days. Complete or incomplete...send them soon please.
Thanks for the kind words! I responded to you on one of your own figures almost 2 weeks ago. I' hate shipping something I'm not happy with, but honestly, if you want me to ship them as is, maybe they aren't even that bad, but it's just my own insecurity, either way, I'll ship them as is, as that is what you are asking for. Don't judge them too harshly, though, ok? I'll ship them tomorrow, paypal shipping label, delivery confirmation and all so you'll be able to find them pretty easy. Thanks again!
Alright, so here's the deal...I ship out to God knows what 3rd world country for who knows how long on 05Oct.11. So, unless you sent them when you said you would, I will never be receiving said items. Sigh...I tried to stress the matter to you as early on as possible. Wish I could say this was a satisfactory transaction, but it seems I've been scammed out of some money...intentionally or not.
They shipped last week, brother,as asked, still needing minor touchups here and there, but you said ship as was so I did. Priority. To the address you gave me. That means they should there Tuesday at the latest. I tried to oblige as best I could. Maybe you'll like them just fine and the imperfections are in my head. My own worst critic, etc.
Message me asap if it's still not there. I have tracking on the package. This is my cell number: 1-804-239-3337 for fastest contact. It is headed your way. Do you ever check the messages left for you, though? Your posts don't always sound like you've read the responses I've sent you.
great job, great ingenuitiy with the dye and love the new magnet/metal accessories so you can upgrade or specialize for a scene. great job as always and truly inspiring.
thanks, glad you like my work. I am now thinking of making a new deadpool, seeing all of your greatness being created. but can't wait to see more of your work, truly great.
Very nice work on this mate.. Love the boots on him!! You said in the description that you dyed him black first? How was this done? I have had a deadpool on the back burner for a while, just needs some bits of paint finishing.. I used the sheild agent body and had problems with paint rub.. Does the dying help? Thanks.... -ged.
Use REALLY hot water and powdered Black Rit Dye. Soak the body in the dye for about 30 minutes, roughly. Remove it, rinse it under REALLY hot running water to remove as much loose dye as possible. Heat the dyed water more and reposition the figure to expose any joints possible that were covered the first time and dye the figure once more for 20-30minutes. Remove figure, rinse in REALLY hot water one more time, then rinse in cool water until the water stops showing signs of discoloration. Finally rinse in cold water. This removes as much excess dye as possible and helps stop the dye from bleeding "up" in to your paint once painted. If dyed just once and not rinsed properly your paint WILL change colors after drying.
Thanks! To be fair, this is the same red body just redone and WAY more stuff added. The magnetic back pack with the swords is my favorite feature this time. It will allow me to offer new upgrade kits later for him and any other figures I make with the magnets.
