Yes, I believe this comic version was introduced in 1953. with her first appearance look being a Green jumper as THE CAT. So even tho the title states Silverage, a typo with the correct time period may be the case...?

in 1942 this costume was introduced the first time or at least a very similar variation of it. AS reference I give you Batman #42 published on Sept 1 1947 the cover sports this costume. Though in 1942 after her The Cat which catwoman sported a garish cat mask and looked more male than female she returns in a new outfit then 5 or so issues later she returns again wearing this costume but the first cover this costume makes an appearance is Batman #42 or at least as far as my collection goes. But look it up I am sure you will see that I am correct. And for the record 1953 is still GOLDEN age by the by. The Golden age ended depending on who you ask in MIN !950's to 1960 at which point the silver age began. Anyone here who docks points on this amazing custom because of this issue is flawed in their judgement. THIS IS A GOLDEN & Silver age costume. This is an amazing custom and deserves to be judged on its technical merits not peoples inadequate comic knowledge. And that is true of every entry. I credit the designer with posting this custom and noting that it might be silverage by naming it silver age catwoman. But I am disappointed in those who judge harshly and comment against the time frame with out verifying FIRST! I will state again this figure is getting 5 points from me. I would actually rank it 5points for design 5points for craftsmanship 4points for originality and if I could I would give it more because of the negative comments due to those lacking the knowledge. This is an amazingly good entry.

Excellent Silver Age Catwoman figure (which happens to be my favorite look for her), but this was supposed to be a Golden Age Contest, not Silver Age...

Cool Catwoman! But this member is right, and we all know what the penalty is for being disqualified in a Realm Custom Contest - you will now be lead to a back room and castrated. Can someone lend a blowtorch?

Yep this is silver age alright welkl in my opinion but with the amount of time travel in the silver age comics and the number of times they went to golden or pre golden age I would have to say that I love this entry and leave it at that. Because according to Patraw Marvel Noir is good for this contest as well as anyone who time traveled to this time frame. Which is very open interpretation of the Golden age and why a few people entered Silver age figs I am sure. Not to mention the golden age is defined as 1930- 1960 though is we are going to be strict we should say 1930-mid 1950. and this character in this costume is on that borderline.

Oh and lets not forget if you go to comic vine this is listed as the classic Golden age costume, and was introduced in 1942. Though she did return to wearing it in the 70's after the horrible green costume and blue with red mask costume.
