Here's my first foray into the world of Deadpool customs, based on his first appearance in New Mutants #98, way back in 1991. I started with a DCUC Orion. I cut off the lower legs, about mid calf, and replaced them with the lower legs and feet of a Marvel Legends Angel. I think shape-wise the Angel feet look more like Liefeld's artwork than the standard DCUC feet. They're a little smaller than the DC feet, but not so small that they look outrageous on the figure. I think its a good compromise between trying to match Liefeld's tiny feet and having something that looks good on the figure. The head is a DCUC Dr Impossible head with the mask sculpted. The rest of the costume details (belt, pouches, straps) are sculpted. The guns are all from dollar store figures, which I painted silver. The knife is a combination of a knife handle from a dollar store ninja, and the blade from a LCBH Clownface's knife. The swords and sheaths are from an ML series 4 Elektra. I made the handles larger by first making a mold of a DCUC Hawkman sword handle. Then after pouring resin in the mold, I placed the Elektra sword handles in the mold. The cast Hawkman handles formed around the Elektra sword handles. Thanks for looking!
