A few months back a friend gave a broken and worn toy. His claws were gone and his paint was worn. His legs were missing as well. Today, he returns from the dead. I installed metal claws into his hands, removed the fins from his feet in order to reattach his feet and then decided that his boots looked better without them so I left them off. After a full body repaint the work was finally finished. Comments are welcome and tell me why you did or didn't like the work. -JT
Thanks! Yeah I tried to get nothing in the backround, but the thing he is leaning on is nessessary because its really hard to get him to stay standing so he needed support. And Ill remember that thanks for telling me!
This is a good effort. How did you put the claws on? They look glued. If so, there's a tutorial on here about how to get the metal claws on and have them look more streamlined into the hand, if you're interested. What paints are you using? Keep at it! -Fitz
I'm using Testors acrylics I think and the claws was just a first time attempt, I will try them again eventually. I drilled into where the claws used to be and then hot glued them on.
