There are some threats that neither star-spangled men nor children of the atom would suffice.
Such threats when silent wars in the middle of the night are being fought by those who seek to spill innocent blood, and heroes no less darker than these vile evil oppressors.
When the glorious heroes of our days would not and could not defend us in these threats from the unknown beyond, these monsters are our last hope

This Order has a long history. Not all of it clean. But always on the right side. They do and would always seek to bring light into darkness.

They are the Midnight Sons.

Hey guys, I’m here to present to you my Midnight Sons custom. I decided to make customs of them since I haven’t found any satisfactory factory made figs of them. And having Halloween just around the corner, I figured it'd be ice to post my stuff. So, here we go:

N’Kantu the Living Mummy: Probably the most obscure of the team and haven’t actually been featured as a member of any incarnation of the Midnight Sons (as far as I know). But i threw him in since he was last seen with Morbius and jack Russel in the “Franken-castle” storyline as a member of the “Legion of Monsters” I found him cool and so here he is. Anyway, he’s made from a Judge Death. Stripped of the armor. Coated with layers of masking tape. And, believe it or not, dipped in coffee.

Daimon Hellstrom: Hellstorm here is just a kind-off a “spur-of-the-moment” custom when I decided to post my stuff for the contest. I realized that my team needs a resident sorceror-ish member. He’s made from a overrun DCUC Aquaman + part of a movie Blackheart coat. I decided to go for something similar to his Marvel Zombies 4 look, rather than his usual topless red cape look... I personally think he ended up looking too heroic that how he ought to, but oh well... Oh yea, his trident is just barbecue stick, couldn’t find some HML Namor or Aquaman trident in time.

Werewolf by Night: I don’t know if he’s legally a custom. But anyone who has this figure knows that he can’t look up due to his barbel-jointed neck. So, I took-off his head, sliced a little piece of plastic from his neck and reattached the head. Thus enabling him to look up and howl at the moon.

Blade: I got this accessory-less Blade relatively cheap. And I really didn’t like the lanky-ness of the ML Blade’s lower body. So, I swapped out his lower body with that of a box-set Punisher. Kept the Blade’s lower leg. Made holsters and gave him a pistol and a dagger. Also gave him a pair of shades from DCD Agent Diana Prince. Also gave him a steel keychain sword from some anime and voila.

Man-Thing. I did absolutely nothing, I just hung a vine accessory from the DCD Hush Poison Ivy so that I could include him in the pics. Sorry.

Morbius the Living Vampire: Heavily inspired by one of my favorite customizer’s work. Made from an Iron-Fist body, ML Dracula hands and head with sculpted nose, ML8 Ghost Rider boots.

Ghost Rider (Johnny Blaze): Now this... This is my masterpiece... Probably the centerpiece of the whole set. Made from an ML8 Ghost Rider (that I accidentally broke) upper body + sculpting for the shirt, ML Punisher lower body till the thighs, ML Cable Boots; Movie Blackheart upper arms, Movie Ghost Rider forearms and shoulder spikes, Move punisher belt, and a coat from a toy line that I don’t know.
--Accessories: Necklace chain from a craft store + 5 hooks from my dissecting set. A hidden dagger beneath his coat. And lastly a “hellfire shotgun” from an ML Bishop.
--Hellcycle: I got this chopper for a not-so-cheap price, but was perfect for the look I was aiming for. I extended the forks and attached the grips from the ML8 GR bike, a skull from a Movie GR and the chains from my dissecting set. Painted it black. And then made a flaming base from hot glue so that I can display it with or without flames.
* I also gave him some Ironfist flames for effects.

So there you have it, my team of Midnight Sons, ready to save the world from supernatural threats that the Avengers, X-Men or Fantastic Four couldn’t handle.

So, I hope looking through my stuff was worth your time. HAPPY HALLOWEEN to everyone!
