hey guys! thanks to goliath customs for hookin me up with the mongol figure for this custom,many thanks man!it was either gonna be a nimrod or this,but the base wasn't really big enough for nimrod in my opinion,so nimrod is next. well ol blue lips is my favorite villain of all time,so i cant help myself to make a him whenever i get the chance, i originally wanted to go with a straight classic look,but ended up having to incorporate some changes due to the way the base figure is made and the time limit i had, but when i saw the mongol i knew i had to give it a shot and make an apocalypse. The hands pop off very easy, and the new attachments pop in easy too,i used some old spawn fodder for the blade one and the gun one,and a piece of plastic and aves for the shield and wrist attachment,the wrist attachment just makes it easier to put the other ones on,and gives it a more robotic shape changing look.the "wires" are hollow rubber tubes with armature wire inside,i put the wire in so he could hold up the attachments with no problems,it does make the arms a bit stiff but a little bending will fix that,which im doing right now:)those things are always a pain to do no matter how i do it,he should think of getting those things embedded in his sleeve or something,i mean don't they get caught on stuff and snag when he is walkin around his dungeon?jeez. the hands are from an xmc tech beast,the rest is mongol and sculpt and testors. i am gonna do another one soon ,i really want to do a straight up classic costume version based on his first appearance and am just searchin for the perfect yet-to-be-found base figure!any ideas? well thanks for looking and sorry for the bad pics(camera is on its last legs,where's peter parker when you need him?)hope you guys like him and GLORY TO GOD!
