This is my take on Batman a mix of the old school (my favorite) with a bit of the new style in his gloves and boots. I started off with a Black Panther body and added the DCU Batman cape and neck, then used the 4 Horsemen/Mattel Batman head (I also used the glove accessories on the side also from this fig). I used the ulitity belt from the 4 Horsemen fig on top of a Mr. Sinister cape strap to give him better articulation. I know Batman's color scheme is now black and gray, but to me he will always be blue and gray. I sculpted the bat symbol on him and then finally made different bat gadgets using apoxie. His various gadgets include his batgun/grappling gun with a grappling shot and grenade shot. This gun can also fire multiple bat-trackers. He has various smoke/gas pellets, computer/electronics, explosives, emp devices, test tubes, evidence bags, cameras, multitools, lockpicks and analysis/spy devices. I am not sure of what all of them are, he told me just to make them and don't ask any questions (and I know don't mess with batman). I finally received a piece of kryptonite and that is the last piece to his arsenal.
thanks means a lot. I try my best to do that, but if not I go back till I remember. There are so many great artists on here and it gives me the inspiration to do what I do.
Man you're ideas on paint are just crazy cool. I love color intensity and comic book feel. I find myself stopping by your profile more and more. Great customs!
this is a true honor and extremely humbling, for I do the same with you and other pillars of the realm. I tend to like to stick with a mix of comic/cartoon/video game style. thanks again team boskoes you both rock and thanks for the support.
Wow!!! The Batman is lookin' good, armed to the teeth, and ready to kick butt!!! you've got a serious piece of business going on here... Nice mix of parts, and sharp paints!!! Congratulations on a custom Bat-home run!!!
I am honored and humbled to hear that from a batman master, I consider you the expert. Thanks it really means a lot. I really wanted to do something a bit different and figured his arsenal would help with that.
thanks my friend, really wanted to do the character justice since there have been so many awesome ones. And Batman is not Batman without his wonderful toys.
NAHICE!! Awesome showing brother. Stellar respect for making all that stuff, but COSMIC respect for not dropping and losing any of them. (No chance of that around my place... I'm still looking for one of my dogs)Really though, great stuff...
thanks that really means a lot my friend. I just so happen to use batman's specimen bags to help me contain those pesky accessories. I did lose a piece or two and had to restart. hope you do find that dog though, he could be making some messes. thanks again.
thanks my friend, means a lot. I totally agree about the blue and grey bats, really much cooler. Also forgot to mention that he has medical packs in his accessories also.
Awesome fig and great accessories it reminds me of a japanese figure with all those inlcuded accessories. One question though....* sorry to be that guy but*..... what kind of gun is that? Hope it doesn't fire bullets Batman hates guns. Great work!
thanks means a lot, as for your question no bullets. his gun fires only grappling hooks, smoke/flash bang grenades, tracking beacons, tranquilizers and the like. As for how I made it, I used a madman gun with a taskmaster gun part attached at the top. drilled a hole into the madman part to allow the accessories to be loaded into. Also forgot to mention he has some stun accessories to subdue larger bad guys.
Thanks a lot chap! Great idea to allow accessories to be placed into the gun as well. You have just got yourself a fan!.......* not that it means much from a wanderer like me*......
sorry meant to say fans of a cutomizer, couldn't think of it right off. If we were allowed to have more than 50, I couldn't tell you how many I would have.
Oh I wasn't aware there was a limit. Iam somewhat new here I've known of the Realm for a couple of years but never registered until a few months ago. I didn't register until recently because I thought it was pointless to do so unless I had customs of my own to post, but some of the stuff on here is really good and I wanted to leave comments and couldn't unless I had an account so here I am. Yep, the story of my life!
don't worry about that, I did the same thing. but it is definitely worth being a member and you should think about joining the forums. it has great wips and other info or just communicate and trade, highly recommended.
