This is a Luke Cage that I'd put into Customcon 27 last year. I didn't get around to taking great individual pictures of the guy back then, but I finally got to it.
The head's a full sculpt, and I think I used the gloves from a Guitar Hero God of Rock with fists from some random Jakks WWE figure. I sculpted the belt and boot details as well, then painted the guy up. He's one of the first pieces I airbrushed and I was really happy with how the yellow came out.
The costume's from the Thunderbolts (as he started leading the team around then) and he's still wearing it in that title. I was kinda surprised this more "super" look didn't creep up into any of the other titles he's popping in and out of.
This is a great Luke Cage! I love the parts and the head you've done is such a sweet touch! Paints are the level of quality we have come to expect from you, and it's cool too see it's a retro one from off the shelf too!
not a cage fan myself, after a story where he whips up on the hulk, but this is the coolest version of him I have seen. your work is also exceptional and love the face sculpt.
