Black Panther, some Spawn figure, ZapaGap glue, Dremel with saw bit, small drill bit and sanding bit. Sawed off the arms and legs from Spawn figure. Removed hands and feet from Black Panther figure. Added peg holes to forearms and shins and attached to Black Panther body. Clipped neck peg off, added small screw to remaining neck peg portion. Hollowed out Black Panther head, sanded off ears, glued strong Earth Magnet inside head. Hollowed out Hamburger head for Spawn and repeated process from Black Panther head. repainted gloves and boots.
This is cool - nice work dude! I really like how you used magnets to switch the heads out - I've been meaning to try this out myself so this custom has inspired me to try something new! Thanks!
Really? I was under the impression that this design wasn't used until Spawn was included in Soul Calibur 2 back in 2002 so I figured it would be from a figure released around then. I'd really like to find one for myself so I can finish my own Spawn custom.
Really, really. The date stamped on the bottom of the foot is where I got my info from. A search on Google turned up 2 VERY similar figures, both called Spawn 3, though neither had the hamburger head like mine had.
Thanks, man! I am not personally a huge Spawn fan, but I used to like the concept of Spawn a lot before I started disliking McFarlane. But that's another story.
Thanks! It was kind of simple in terms of the normal kind of work I do on a figure, but it was SUCH a shock at how much time it took to do all of the sanding and drilling and such.
