My Bro approached me with a Batman figure (don't know any particulars of figure} & asked me to turn him into Citizen Steel. He had been waiting for the Ross JSA series to make one...but has given up hope on that. I yanked the Cloak off & shaved off the Bat ears & glove spikes (keeping one for the head fin). Then I cut the Boot points off & did a massive repaint. Turned out better than I thought it would. Any Thoughts?
You did an AMAZING paint job on Citizen Steel!! Such a cool costume and you nailed it in every detail, including that amazing star!! Such a under rated character that is sooo cool!! One of my favorites!! PERFECT RENDITION!!!
This turned out great.Terrific recipe and great paint apps.as for the red it is supposed to be that shiny metallic.I think the Batman in question is the DC Direct version based on Shane Davis artwork. Can be found in the Superman /Batman line.
To be honest, I think the figure is very well painted. lines look clean, and I can see that you painted that star by hand too, which looks sharp. The only thing I do´t like are the shiny paints, but that is maybe because I´m not familiar with the character. Any way, the paint job is very good, and that´s the important thing. Hard to believe he was a batman. Good job!
