El Chapulin colorado (The red grasshopper)is an icon of comedy in South America. Created by the comedic genius of Roberto Gomez Bolanos, he used to rip off on traditional superhero standards. His sitcom ran for 8 seasons for a total of 155 episodes. HKC pays homage to an icon with this humble figure in the popular Dc Universe classics line. I took the liberty of modifying certain elements of his costume to make him more updated, while still preserving the essence of the costume.
