Hi!

Here's my Cyclops. In my version, he's a grittier man--more evolved from the first few series of Astonishing X-Men than anything else. In that series, he was still his core dorkiness, but he was also full-blown bad-a$$ and unafraid to show his full power--which is devastating. He was a strategic thinker, but devious a bit as well. I liked how his hope was just tainted enough with cynicism without making him a carbon copy of other characters.

So here, he's grown from being emotionally unsure of himself and envious of Wolverine to being assertive and just avengingly aggressive--due to his experiences--to be able to command Wolverine's respect and obedience. I kept the dash of yellow as the homage, and to tie in the Jean costume, but this is an older, angrier, more militant mutant leader.
