Bengali -

Bengali is the younger, bluer brother of Tygra. On my birthday I ran out of action figures that I wanted to buy so I bought a third Tygra who I have been wanting to try painting for a while...since there's a surplus of Thundercat's on the market now I took advantage. Started painting him on Nov 19th and here he is on Dec 10th growling before you...

First thing to do was base spray paint white. This is a complete repaint, no sculpting just added magnets on feet and weapons. I Shaded and highlighted his costume and muscles, left the Thundercats symbol how it was and protected it with 2 layers of hardcoat gloss. Protected the joints with superglue. Everything was hand painted with Citadel Paints.

His weapons I painted with silver and blue to be the opposite of Tygra. I even made some Battle Claws which are detachable with magnets. They were from the Sigma Storm Shadow which gave him metal hand and foot claws to fight with, I thought that made sense for the character.

Then I went outside and took pictures all through the backwoods where I live and took as many jungle poses as I could snap...One pic he is coming out of a cave, another on a japanese maple tree high on the branches, and the last he is hunting like a tiger through tall grass...
