Custom #:35209
Name:DBZ- Vegeta (Saiyan Saga)

Date Added:December 18, 2011
Base Figure:DragonBall Kai "Vegeta"
Height:4.50 inches
Here is my custom Vegeta figure from the Saiyan saga, what I did was, sculpted him his "skirt armor" with thin Milliput and attached to a small black rubber band so that he could still bend his legs then I made a tail out of a brown pipe cleaner, it was posable and it looked furry, attached by drilling a small hole in his butt, lol. I repainted his original white armor, with a Racing Finish "Pearl White", I painted his skirt armor with a yellow/weird tan color mix and it came out exact to the original color, I'm very proud of this custom, I still want to sculpt him a scouter. This is not my first, but one of my faves, my next custom is still in the works!!The picture in the middle is the original!! :D Thanks everyone, let me know what you think!

I've dabbled with DBZ customs nearly all my life and have yet to come across one good idea for those armor flaps on the waist. What you've done is pure genius. I'd really like to see more pics on how you pulled this off. Is the tail there to hide the rubber band? And how did you get the armor to stay attached to the band?

Thanks a million bro, haha, well the tail kinda does that too, I sculpted the skirt armor then when it harden I took a small black hair rubber band and used super glue to make them able to slip on and slip off of Vegeta's waist, I will post some pics of the skirt off of him so you can get a better image.

Thanks dude, Yeah, I've noticed that on other figures the skirt armor always prevented their legs from bending.

This looks amazing! I have a Vegeta that's about the same size but it's not a Dragonball Kai figure. I might sculpt the rest of the armor and such as you did. Makes me wanna get back into collecting this scale of DBZ. Awesome work!
