I don't know about being the metal and chrome king, that is a lofty title...how about jester! I am still learning. There are ways to paint it to make it look realistic. Like Colossus' costume was red, then add red coloring and reflections to it. Chrome is just a mirror of the surroundings but you have to fool the brain with what the eye sees and it will register it as "chrome". If that makes any sense? I am not a huge fan of this costume for Colossus but you make him look awesome despite it. I loved that you used the T-Hawk base for the extra mass and the sculpts are great. But as always the paints steal the show...simply amazing!!!

Your wish is my command... Here is a link to a tutorial on painting a Colossus: HEAVY METAL back from June 2009. An airbrush is not needed, if you do not have one, for the places airbrush was used, just thin your paint down like a light transparent wash over the silver and that will work. As far as the white sunbursts(highspots), just use thin downed white and start at a bigger circle until you get to the center and use full opaque or gloss white for the center.
