a friend of mind ask me to make this for him, his a fan of this movie "ichi", he gave me the picture and then look for the base figure , I was fortunate enough to see this chinese/ japanese star trek or star gate figure who is just perfect for the ichi figure, we replaced the hair with psylock's hair, i did get my sons old cloth diaper and sew it, painted it and added some super glue to hardened the cloth. sword is from an old gi joe figure, and luckily my friend liked it!
I haven't seen the film, but this is a nice figure. By the way, are you sure you didn't use either the Boomer or Athena action figures from the Battlestar Galactica line? I ask because I myself have a Boomer and it looks pretty close to that.
I thinks that is the figure that we used, I bought it without the box so I really didn't know what particular figure that we used here, I was just amazed by the closeness of the face to the ichi charater.
