well I honest to goodness fought for the longest time, not wanting to buy a new camera, not wanting to take the time to set up back drops and lights, not investing in a $14 tripod - believing none of that stuff would make too significant a difference. Until I got fed up with crummy pics and I started trying the techniques and I have to say they really do work.
I got my silver posterboard at Michaels for $.99 although they tell me you can get them at Walmart too. Silver on one side, gold on the other.
I picked up some clamp on lights like for working on cars with, for a couple of bucks at a dolalr tree or something similar. Tripod was $14 at walmart and while my camera was rather pricey weighing in a about $350 I may have been able to get better shots than I was used to with my old camera on a tripod and with the silver background and clip lights. All the same, we have to work within our budgets and sometimes that is beyond our control, but please please take it from me, do NOT let time keep you from getting a good shot, spend the time to set up the shot it will make a difference I am living proof!

thanks I've tried all the photography tricks on the tutorials. pics come out the best on my old comforter with the lights dim.

nice work it looks like, but I'd be grateful for clearer pictures if you have the ability next time. I know what its like to have a camera that only takes blurry shots tho!
