ODIN King Of Asgard (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:3572
Name:ODIN King Of Asgard
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:Mikey11935
Date Added:August 10, 2007
Base Figure:ML ser 15 Beta ray Bill, Xmen Juggernaut, & Spawn Zeus figures
Height:6.90 inches
Having wanted to make an Odin for sometime, but not wanting to use a Maestro base I was cleaning up my shop this week and came across an open Beta Ray Bill figure. I realized the base was similar to an armor I saw Odin wear in an older issue. But what would I use for hands as Betta Ray has only 4 fingers??? Rummaging thru my fodder I came across Juggernaut! Were these not forearms and hands worthy of a god king!!!?!

I've had the Spawn ser 14 (I think) Zeus head and had every intention of using this helmet along with the loin cloth. I used both pieces of his beard that can be moved independantly.

After trimming the horns and sculpting new tips I decided I didn't like the "hair fluff" on top and feeling lazy did not want to deal with trimming & dremmeling.

I mixed a skin tone that matched Zues and painted the arms, added Apoxie Sculpt mid chest for armor and painted it. The helmet used is a Viking Spawn helmet boiled several times and cooled until it fit Odins head proportionally without falling off. His individual figers were heated and cooled to a new position also. The battle axe/hammer was sculpted from Bills Hammer as well.

Please give me feedback as I am quite pleased and impressed with something that I was a little skeptical of when I started. I wanna know what everyone else thinks.

Mortal you have actually brought tears to mine eyes. Thou hast captured my sorely missed father's likeness perfectly. I actually have a extra Beta Ray Bill and I'm reluctant to use Maestro as a base also. I may have find some alternate parts for his hands and head though.
