This design is not from any known comic series, but rather a variant by a collector. He wanted specifically this character - done evil. Borrowed the cape from a DCSH Bizarro fig. and in the process of figuring out how to attach the cape; the best way to keep the figure standing upright, was to invert it the other way. The weight of the cape placed upside down kept the figure from tipping over, and besides, looked more galactic.
I personally love the cape effect. like buddy said, I think he would look sick if ya had him like floating down. he comes across to me like when he defects from the sinestro corps and raises hell in the dc universe, I hope this is what he looks like. what happened with his stomach, did you have to remove something? anyways, the figure looks great, those gloves look cool what are the colors you used, some pics look like its silver, and some look white grey toned. anyways, great job, keep it up.
