Still going on my McDonaldland trip, here's Birdie!! She was introduced to McDonaldland when they started carrying breakfast. I used Hope Summers for the base, her talons came from a Jurassic Park dinosaur (I dug them out to make Reptil), wings from Hawkman, head is a cast of the variant Black Widow from ML8. I got the head awhile back to make that version of Widow, but the cast job was bad, there were cracks in the face, but for this character I wanted her to have that post apocalyptic battle-worn look I'd been going for with all of these figures, so I adapted the cracks into scars. I wanted her to be sexy but creepy and badass too, I think I accomplished my goal. I made her tube top and bikini bottom out of an old Misfits shirt I keep around just to use on customs. Anyway hope you guys enjoy her, oh yeah I included a group shot of the McDonaldland Gang, I think I'm going to do Captain Crook and maybe some Fry Guys, them I'm done with this silliness.

Quick question, are these original concept? Sorry, I was born in late 80s & only know the kiddie version of these characters. Anyway, these entire series has been outstanding!

This all started with a Carlton Mellick III book called Warrior Wolf Women of the Wasteland. The Hamburglar, the Mayor, and the concept of a walled city of McDonaldland came from that book and I kept their designs as close to Mellick's descriptions and drawings as possible. Once I got the idea of the dystopian McDonaldland characters stuck in my craw I had to go on and make Grimace and Birdie and those are completely original designs. I highly recommend this book and also Mellick's Zombies and S$%^ where I got the inspiration for my Mr T cyborg.
