Magneto was made using the Wrarrl body. The head is an XMC Magneto head with a Marvel Select Magneto Helmet. The Cape is from the Marvel Select Magneto as well. The lower arms were resculpted completely and the 'gloves' were made using Mr. Sinister cape straps. The lower legs are half of Wrarrl's and half of Wonder Man's. The feet are Wonder Man feet. The 'boots' were made with Sinister cape strap as well. The hands are from Marvel Select Loki. I sculpted over the finger nails to make them look like gloves. The upper part of the groin was resculpted and the belt is neoprene. The 'magnetism' effect was made from fodder. The purple on the helmet, gloves, boots, belt, and collar are a special mixture of paint to make it highly metallic and pearly. The red on the helmet, boots, and gloves is also pearly and metallic. The red and purple on the body were dry-brushed over black. The FX were painted with flat silver and translucent black to create a sort of metallic 3D effect. We were going for a more realistic, dark looking version of Magneto. Thanks for looking!
I can't stop coming back to this!!!! such an awesome job...and the pose of him walking toward the camera is serious badass } And the metal looks fantastic...has me on a mission to do something similar Thanks for the inspiration
Why can't my camera behave like that when I take custom shots? heh. I love this custom, you did a marvelous job, I feel you really nailed this in every detail, making it true to the character 120%!
Once again I lay me eyes upon this AWESOME custom! This thing is so Boss! Just one question I've been meaning to ask you from the begining how tall is he next to the MS one, cause it looks like this bad boys got some height on him?
Thanks for the support. I really appreciate it. BTW, I voted for Fulgore in the current contest. Very nice work. I've been waiting for an opportunity to make that guy.
