I started making custom batmobiles in 2001, due to the lack at the time of proper official versions of the comic book batmobiles. They are in the 1/64 scale. I mainly use Hot Wheels models as a base for the cars, but the DKR batmobile was challenging due to its size. So i used a robot tank that came with a Jean Grey 90s figure and added some fodder to build the look. I also sculpted some details with apoxye, and finally repainted it in flat gray tones to match the comic look.
