I had been on this for a while. I have always wanted to cast a complete figure. I figure the simpler the better and you don't get any simpler than this. This stormtrooper was cast from a series of 1 piece molds made using a vintage (2) stormtrooper figures. It took me a few tries to make the proper mold setup but I finally found that simple was best. I LOVE STORMTROOPERS!! If I could have thousands of these guys I would… So now I can? Figure is articulated just like the original BUT I used straight pegs as opposed to tabbed pegs since the body is one piece solid.
Figure is detailed with a fine point sharpie… simpler the better.
I've been looking for someone that knows how to properly cast figures. Is there anyway you could help me out on a project I've had on hold for a few years that requires casting?
I tell you if nobody has posted a tutorial yet on how to cast figured in part or whole I'd love to post one. Problem is FR's systems make it a real hassle for Mac users apparently. I have done a tutorial series before on Utube. I would subscribe and possibly I'll get one up and running on this topic. User: GeekSummit.
