Well, I've been off the scene for a couple of years but my friend 'Face' (who has started to post on here) has convinced me to come out of retirement.
Psylocke has always been my favourite X-Lady so thought I'd try out her latest look. I used XMC Rogue body with Psylocke head and belt then Wasp legs and arms. I sculpted the hair and made the psychic knife with a twistie tie, hot glue and ink. It's going to take me a while to get back up to scratch but hope you like!
glad to see you making your excellent customs again. you were one of my inspirations to start the hobby myself. your psylocke is totally epic and welcome back.
Wow, glad to hear I could inspire someone to do this! It was browsing this site looking at the works of Jin Saotome and Kyle Robinson etc that started me off too
Thanks! I stopped doing customs before the new female bodies hit the market. We don't get them anymore in the UK so I'll no doubt be using plenty of the old Black Widow and Storm bodies for my next few until they relaunch here
Not to sound like an angry Grumbling fanboy whose opposed to any kind of change, but I don't really think the new female bucks are all that great! Not to say that they're awful but just not great. I actually whish Hasbro would use the Toybiz Black Widow because I thought that one was of their best! Oh well, one can only hpe I guess.
Well I should imagine with all the boxset Invisible Woman and Black Widow figures I have knocking around, there will be a fair few more using those bases
I'm glad your back WINGS! You even missed me finally winning one these very hard to win custom contests last JUNE! It was the armored up contest. Love your Psylocke man! Keep on keeping on and hang around! I took a year off myself from May or June of 2010 until June 2011
