I wanted to have this figure up before the Movie started as I finished him over a week ago, but I've been too busy to get to posting it. I did get out to see the movie, and I recommend it to anybody interested! So to honour the film this is my version of a Marvel Legends Avengers movie Hulk. Today they released the Marvel Select version of the avengers movie Hulk, so it seems fitting to put this up now. Recipe: Torso and crotch: First Appearance Grey Hulk This version of the Hulk was more bulky rather than defined. Without layers and layers of abdominal muscles, and veins of a body builder. He was framed more like a lumbering linebacker, with suggestion of muscle tone, not full on rippling muscles. The first appearance hulk's torso Arms (from bicep down): Face Off Hulk I got the size I wanted, they aren't as huge as some versions of the Hulk we have seen, in fact the Marvel select version are smaller than all of the Marvel Legends version of the Hulk even though he is at least 3 inches taller. Still, his arms aren't perfect for me as I would of liked smaller hands, The Legends Hulk hands tend to be over sized and exaggerated, and the movie versions are big, but not that proportionally big. My perfect pick would have been from the Hulk first movie twist and slam Hulk, those would have been a perfect fit! Both hands are in fists and are a bit smaller than the regular Legends Hulk hands. Although I used mine for my Incredible Hulk Movie custom I did. Legs: Face off Hulk These legs had the denim canvas-like texture the First Appearance Hulk's pants had, and it gave me the height I was looking for, and the large feet he seemed to have. It took a bit of constructive dremil work to make them fit snug with the F.A. Hulk's leg ball joints. Head: 10" Gamma Smash Avengers Hulk What can I say, I love this sculpt, and although it's from a much larger body, I think it fits perfect on the smaller F.A. Hulk's body. It has a great likeness to Ruffallo, and this version of the Hulk. I'm going to be putting one of these on my Marvel Select movie Hulk too. I loaded this head with sculpt to fit it to the neck and moved it to get a nice rotation and let it dry, and now it's fits tight, and moves nicely. Finally this guy is supporting a lot of layers of paint to get the colour, highlights, and shadows I was looking for. I started with a dark olive tone of green for the shadow base coat, and I dry brushed several layers of lighter greens, lightening the shade each pass. I also did some paint work on the pectoral muscles on the chest to give it a less flat look, defining some muscle groups. Thanks for checking him out! ![]() |

Next up is a MS Hulk I have with this head too. I really want to get this one done and up, so I'll have to hurry, hurry!
Ol' Jade Jaws- Thanks! I like the figure for the MS Hulk it's really cool, but it just isn't 100% for the movie Hulk in the least.
Whiskeytango- Thanks man! I would of liked to have a couple more of the crew in the photo, but I have my cap being worked on, and Thor dwarfs him! Truth is in real life there is an inch difference between them. I also just stupidly forgot to add my nick fury photos.
I will agree with you though, I wouldn't mind an extra half inch on him.
Lokoboy- Thanks, glad you like him, and thanks for the kind words about my body of work!
king xorn- Too bad you don't like the Hulkallo, because I heard he signed a six picture deal to show up in more than avengers and Hulk movies. Thanks!
