This particular Oni is based on Illustrations from the children's story "The Funny Little Woman"by Arlene Mosel(based on a Japanese Folktale).I sculpted his head from Air-dry clay.His body is a Castaway toys light blue body which I sculpted over with airdry clay(all his oni bodily features).I painted the entire figure with acrylic paints and sealed with Mod-poge adhesive sealant.I made his straw-grass skirt from jute twine.
Hope you like my new blue Oni.

Thanks guys,glade you like my Special Order Oni.And Yami,these are actually my latest Action Figures(since the last time I was around actually),but I should have some more to show soon.I'm working on a new Gill-man for aa friend's store and the lady that got this Oni plans to have me make more children's story Characters for her,hopefully more stories based on Japanese Folklore,so I'll be around again(I also plan to make a Yeti for my shop soon too ).
