The Winter Guard is a team of Russian superheroes in the Marvel comics universe. Noted of late for being heroic enough to be considered Russia's answer to the Avengers they formerly operated as the Soviet Super Soldiers and had much more of an adversarial role to the other costumed superheroes. Darkstar is the sister of the current Red Guardian and she is a mutant who can draw power from the Darkforce Dimension!
