I love J.Scott Campbell's Spider man covers, and espescially his depiction of Mary Jane Watson. I was browsing ebay one day when this idea struck me. I could create J.Scott Campbell style characters using Danger Girl Bases. I odered a set, and now I have my first custom. I love the way this figure came out. The only down side is the articulation count, but that's how mcfarlane makes, and we all still love their figures. Despite the lack of articulation, I still think she'll look great next to a Marvel Legends Spider Man. Let me know what you think!
It seems so obvious to use a Danger Girl figure for MJ, but this is the first I've seen. Stunning work, the paints are beyond pro quality. And I'd agree that articulation isn't as important as aesthetics for a character like MJ.
when it comes to qualty like this articulation doesn't matter to me at all(and I love me some mega articulation) man this is the coolest mj yet imo, awesome!spidey is slappin himself now for makin that dumb deal with the devil
I'm not usually the biggest fan of limited articulation customs, but because this is Campbell art styled, and the changeover really worked out great, you got a REALLY awesome campbell MJ, something that really should exist anyways!
