Whats up guys this is my very first custom as i am new to figure realm.T his is my jungle camo Cap I painted the shirt sleeves gloves black. The pants are a blackish green my boots and shield are partly brown for mud and dirt. Thanks
If you are going for a jungle camo look, I would suggest using some modern or WW2 military uniforms as references. While the idea of a more standard issue Captain America uniform is good, as it is there is little "camo" in the overall paint scheme. But, for a first custom it's not bad at all. The coverage looks good, and it's not globbed on or thick at all. Just work on getting the joints coloured.
Joints can be a problem for a lot of people. I recommend checking out some of the tutorials here, and on Jin's site. Also, for me, I like to just dye the body black or a solid base colour and then paint on top of that. It at least gets rid of brighter colours peeking out at the joints.
welcome, nice concept,lovin the combination of black and green, I really like the paint effect on the shield, perhaps you could paint the joints to remove the blue?
