Hey all,

Not much here, really. A custom repaint, with some highlights along the armor based on my Hot Toys Dark Knight figure's suit. I hooked him up with a custom wired cape to make those insanely cool poses. I'm still a fan of poseable capes, and really believe that they can totally reclass an action figure's quality.

There's also a bit of drybrush on the BATPOD. I made a Catwoman based off the new flick's early photo ops, but I'm not happy now that some beter ones have popped up. I think she ended up looking more like Selene from Underworld. You can see her on the docks of the bay, if you take my meaning.

Critique away and thanks for looking!!

Hello and thanks for looking! It's black craft wire, 22 or 24 gauge. You can get it a JoAnns or Michaels pretty cheap. Coems in all kinds of colors and other guages for different size figures.

Awesome!!! I'd love to learn how you make those wired capes...I'm sure there's more to it than just sewing some wires near the edge...

Actually, I don't sew! I soak the whole cape in water, then lay it on a towel, fold the towel over it and suck up the excess; leaves it really damp. Next I super glue and slow roll the wire and the tightest edge of the cape I can get till the wire is covered once. The water keeps the glue from drying with a white residue. That's it. Sewing may be better, but it's a skill I don't possess! LOL!

Thanks. Forgot to mention you do all this, and THEN glue the cape onto the neck/base of the figure!
