Wanted to really beef-up this character and make one that didn't look like other Bizarro figures out there. Intended for a more cartoon look, the parts chosen for this custom were not the same size (proportionally) and proved to be tricky to put together. Found the head from a Darkstalkers Victor, re-sculpted the face, hair and neck. The big arms were from a Hulk fig and was the most challenging to attach. Because the shoulders were huge compared to the arm sockets on the DCSH Superman figure, it almost didn't work. The sculpting around the area would be fine on one side, but would scuff on the underside, when rotating the arm. Adjustments were made to allow the arms to move freely and still look "natural" on the figure. Chose the legs from a Helspont figure to help exaggerate the upper torso even more. The cape was borrowed from a DCSH Supergirl fig and sculpted firmly. A Wonder Woman fig. is used here to show style and color comparison - as JLA Classified figures designed by McGuinness definitely inspired this Bizarro! Thanks for looking! ![]() |
