For the grab bag, I got greek gods. So instead of the usual Ares or Zeus one would expect, I made Hermes! Hermes is essentially the Silver Surfer of the greek gods. He is the herald of Zeus and messenger to man. I took a few liberties in his design, and included the winged boots (originally sandals) but left out the winged hat. He carries the caduceus, a rod entwined with two serpents and adorned with wings. it is said that the staff has the power to open and close the eyes of man. this guy would make a pretty cool character in a comic...Hermes is made from a Necca GoW figure, stripped of all its armor, a WWE lower body, LCBH Ripclaw boots, XMC Magneto cape, and a few other pieces to round him out. The staff is made from random pieces and some garden wire and foam. Maybe after the contest I will make these greek god types into a series of customs...this one was pretty fun.
