Halloween Jack was essentially Loki from the 2099 Universe, I thought he was an interesting character visually, and I had a couple of the old figures so I went to work. I used a modified DC Superheroes Joker head, removed the hair and sculpted a new "do", added the ponytail and hands from the old figure, added the back cape things from both of the old figures and the swirls on his forearms came from the old figure as well. The feet came from a WWE figure and I sculpted the tendrils on his arms and his necklace.
Yeah, in 2099 there was a company called Alchemex and they were creating new versions of the old Norse gods. Subjects would get the powers of the god, but lose their identity in the process, believing they were the actual god. Halloween JAck (Jordan Boone) was a scientist at Alchemex, he got the powers of Loki, but kept his identity. It ended up making him insane.
Thanks FF, I actually had this one 90% finished months ago, but started over almost from scratch. I was trying to make a vinyl cape (or whatever those things are) before I decided to bust open the old figures I had and loot them for parts. Anyway, he is a cool character so I wanted to do him justice.
Absolutely gorgeous work, Xysma! He's looks so totally wicked and cool! The green paint used is so vibrant & rich. It looks awesome against the black outfit. AMAZING custom, as always. A nice treat for the eyes.
Funny you should mention the green paint, that's all you bro! After seeing your Sinestro Corps Blattor I went back and added two more layers of increasingly lighter greens to bring out more highlights.
Wow, brother...you've made my day...for me it's a good day when I'm able to somehow inspire one the best customizers on the Realm whose work I respect, love and admire. Thank you
