I have seen so many uses of this base, and wanted to make several heroes. I made a Captain America a while back, and wanted to make more. I have a Punisher and a Daredevil in the works on this base too. ANYWAY: Batman has his head and belt sculpted with Aves, and thing layers of Aves along various parts of his body. In hindsight, I should have sculpted the chest symbol. I know it isn't raised in the comic, but I usually sculpt those and I like that look. I took the advice of one of you guys from my Captain America, and shaved off Bishop's pointy chin, sculpting over his facial hair with a super thin layer of Aves. He looks more like the art from the comic, I think. Left the strap on the leg, as Batman has this with a holster later in the book. Cape is cut and sealed cloth, and is wired for poseability. Painted with washes and drybrushes for detailed muscles. He looks worn and dirty, bulky but slouchy. Not 100% accurate, but pretty close to old man Batman. Thanks for looking and as always, comments/critiques are welcome! -Fitz ![]() |
