So, last week I presented Iron Lantern, a figure made by request for an Iron Man Armory. It got me thinking and I realized I always wanted to do Amalgam customs. So, I went searching and came across this guy. I wanted to jump on the post-Avengers bandwagon and get my own Thanos out there, so I thought this would be a different way of going about that. Here I have Thanoseid, the amalgamation of Darkseid and Thanos. The body was a simple repaint, cutting down his skirt to just the belt. The head was more problematic. At first I search for a Darkseid head, but couldn't find one that would work as well as needed. However, I had a Skaar head and thought it had the perfect look for him. I removed the hair and proceeded to sculpt the helmet on. I'm still not great with sculpt, though, so this was the attempt that came the closest. Overall, I'm happy with him. And if all works out I'll have more of these guys in the coming weeks.
