I had an old Marvel Legends Black Widow from series 6 (I think). She had a really ugly head and when the Avengers movie came out, I wanted to display her with all my avengers figures but just couldn't get over the fact how ugly she is. So I looked into my figures for the best looking head which is close to Scarlett Jo in the movie and Black Canary's head seem to fit the bill. I also got the inspiration from Jin Saotome's Black Widow which is many times better. This is my first custom and it was interesting and gratifying to make. First time working with Apoxie and did not know I was suppose to use water to help. This is why her exposed breast looks funny (not smooth). I used the Wonder Girl lower body because I thought this would make her shorter, however, she ended up the same height as her ML widow because I think Black Canary's upper body is long which made her taller again. Recipe: Head: Black Canary DCUC Upper Torso: Same Lower Torso: DCUC Donna Troy (Wonder Girl) Legs: Same Arms: ML Black Widow (series 6??) Sculpted to give her more TnA side gun pouch, belt and belt pouch. ![]() |

Trust me, dude, you're only going to get better from here on out.
Might I suggest google image search? Last I checked, there's a lot of boobs on the internet. That and familiarizing yourself with the real thing.
Serious though, check out some anatomy books and existing female action figure of a similar scale. Knowing how the neck joins to the collarbones, and how a woman's chest tapers down, and at what angles - it's helpful when sculpting such things.
Critique aside, it's a great first custom, and an excellent head choice for Black widow. It's just a shame to see her with such bumpy breasts.
