If you're familiar with the Young Justice deluxe Robin figure that came out in stores they used a buffed up body that made him look downright bizarre. Here I've changed that by swapping out the entire body using a Marvel legends X-23 figure. The original Robin's head, hands, lower legs, and cape/belt were grafted on and joints were modded for better range of articulation. X-23 had to have a 'chest reduction' in order for this to work but once it did we finally have a smaller Robin that looks like the cartoon art!
GENIUS! I have been trying to decide on a figure to use for the same reason, and I can't believe this didn't occur to me! Seriously, why can't DC do as good on scale and sculpt as guys like us realmers??? Thanks for the inspiration!
now this is robin - like hes suppose to be. hes a small guy(b4 he becomes nightwing that is )- hes not suppose to look like hes on steriods and works out all the time instead of saving people. plus robin suppose 2 have a neck--who approves the these figures at mattel...clearly some1 whos not a young justice fan lol
You beat me to it! I mean it was bound to happen anyway by some customizer it's taking me forever to start mines. Great work though Jin this' awesome. Maybe I'll do a Tim version since he's on the show now.
