As with my Robin, I wasn't satisfied with my last Batman custom. I resculpted the torso to give it a more armored look and repainted the figure in order to make the armored sections really stand out.
After seeing this and reading the description, I took a look at version #1, and I like the armour mods you have made here, has a cool functional look to it! I also have to agree you have a cool gritty feel to this figure (as in most of your work0, but also that head looks phenomenal! Like phin said, it touches on the original more pulp version of him, but it also just has more of a fantastical bat look to it. Nice work!
Cool, gritty & artistic. and I loves me that cowl. the older pulpy look of it kinda makes me think that you should lose the yellow around the batsymbol. no offense meant by that, just an observation. ~phin
